Coming 2nd by just a “neck” was the euro import Theysken’s Theory, 3rd to More Than Real by 1 1/2 length and the super was filled by Hungry Island just a head further behind!

Winning time was a very pedestrian 1:51.06 after some meager early factions here today!

Presque Isle Downs (seen here) got some national attention today with their annual running of the GII Masters Stakes, going 6 1/2 f’s over the Presque Isle poly, for 3yo and up Fillies and Mare sprinters, for a huge purse of $400,000!

Coming home the winner in this huge field of 12 lovely ladies was Musical Romance by just a “neck” over this race’s favorite Ariana D who went 9w on the far turn to get up and almost win!

3rd went to Shotgun Gulch who went 8w on the far turn finished just a 1/2 length further back and the super 4th spot by just aneck again to Promised Mandate who was an “A/E” here today and we didn’t cover in our pre-race posting!

Winning time was 1:16.40 over a fast-track!

Coming 2nd by a nose was Awesome Bet in a photo over Populist Politics, with Alternation, who got all jammed up in stretch traffic big-time filling out the super here today back another 1 1/2 lengths!
