Zazu grows up in GI Lady’s Secret Stakes | Order of Finish and Replay

The 3yo filly Zazu (seen here) grew up today by beating one of the best fields of the day that included the like of multiple GI winner Blind Luck, to win the $250,000, GI Lady’s Secret Stakes for 3yo’s and up Fillies and Mares, at a distance of 1 1/16 mile at Santa Anita Park today!

Coming 2nd by 1/2 length was the very hot Ultra Blend, 3rd to local fav Great Hot back 1 1/2 more and Champange D’oro who blazed the trail here held down the super spot for you!

Blind Luck came out of the gate and that was pretty much all of her input into this contest as she finished dead last! We hope all is well with this champion filly!

Zazu also garners a berth in the Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic dust-up that will highlight Day 1 of this year’s Breeders’ Cup Spectacular at Churchill Downs on Nov. 4th and 5th!

Flat Out is JCGC winner | Order Of Finish and Race Replay

Flat Out (seen here) served notice on the rest of the Handicap division that he’ll be the one to beat in the Nov 5th Breeders’ Cup Classic dust-up with a 2 1/4 lengths victory over last year’s Belmont Stakes winner Drosselmeyer in the GI $750,000, going 1 1/4 mile, for 3yo’s and up, Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes over some muddy going at Belmont Park today!

The 3rd spot was filled by Travers winner Stay Thirsty back another 1/2 length with the super spot filled by NYRA older horse mainstay in Rodman back another 1/2 length!

So Flat Out will lining up in Louisville on Nov. 5th looking for a shot at North America’s biggest thoroughbred racing pot and a chance at horse racing glory!

Uncle Mo Steals the show in GII Kelso Handicap | Order Of Finish and Replay

Uncle Mo (seen here) clicked off a 1:33.4 mile over a soupy Belmont main track to win today’s GII Kelso Handicap by 3 lengths over Jackson Bend, with 3rd going to Jersey Town and Golddigger Boy bringing up the rear in a scratch-minimized field of just 4!

So with this “win and you’re in” ticket to the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile in his vest pocket Todd and Mike have some decisions to make! Do they keep him in the dirt mile or move him up to a Breeders’ Cup Classic start!

So as they say, the Repole Stables now have some options but their stated goal was to always get everyone’s favorite Uncle into the Breeders’ Cup Classic all along! Well watch out what you wish for!

I’m Steppin it Up wins rain soaked GIII Kent Stakes | Results and Replay

After a week of heavy rains and overnight downpours, Delaware Park (seen here)officials were forced to move the 1 1/8 mile, GIII Kent Stakes, for 3yo only, with a $250,000 purse to the safety of the main track.

However, they did manage to keep the original 1 1/8 mile distance for this tilt after the move off the “boggy lowlands” that the turf course had been transformed into overnight!

So a field 12 quickly shrank down to only 6 runners with I’m Steppin it Up taking down the feature here today by 2 lengths over a late charging King Congie with Fire with Fire grabbing the 3rd spot back 2 3/4’s more!
