The season will kick out with the traditional $100,000 Oceanside Stakes, for 3yo turfers at a Mile and it will probably be broken into 2 division again as has happened in recent years due to over subscription!
Other first weekend important races here at Del Mar are Saturday’s Osunitas S., $90,000, 3&up f/m, 8.5f, and San Clemente H. (G2), $200,000, 3yo f, 8f andSunday’s Eddie Read S. (G1), $300,000, 3&up, 9f!
