A top-notch field of ’10’ 3yo and up runners is slated for this 2-turn test including the GI Pacific Classic winner Beholder, who’ll break from the outside in Gate #10 and is the 3/1, 2nd choice!
Keen Ice, at an interesting 12/1 is the GI Travers winner and American Pharoah upsetter in that same race will break from the #2 hole while P.A. Derby and Wood Memorial winner Frosted, draw the #3 slot and comes in at a very enticing 15/1 on the m/l!
The lightly raced Smooth Roller, also at 15/1 will be breaking from the lucky #7 stall and is the winner of the GI Awesome Again Stakes out at Santa Anita last month!
Euro invader Gleneagles, at 20/1 goes out for the legendary euro trainer Aidan O’Brien, and breaks from the mid-pack #5 hole!
Effinex, another NYRA top handicap div. runner with multiple graded wins on that circuit this year drew long odds of 30/1 and gate #6,while the GI Gold Cup winner at Santa Anita last June Hard Aces, rounds out this field of 10 at very long odds indeed of 50/1 and goes from gate #8!
