California Chrome – sparkles again in GI Preakness Stakes at Pimlico today

California Chrome, and Victor Espinoza, did a very nice carbon-copy of their derby effort 2 weeks ago in winning today’s $1,500,000, GI Preakness Stakes, for 3yo, at 1 3/16  mile, over a “Fast ” Pimlico main track by 1½ length, over a persistant Ride On Curlin and doing it all over that persistently dead Pimlico rail this season, too.
