Free Past Performances,

“Live Current Derby Odds” ← Odds will automatically update as the early wagering continues!!!

“Flash” Hoppertunity, now out of Derby and Pablo Del Monte, will “not run” in Derby 140 tomorrow, so we have only 19 runners this year!

“Please Note”*  Starting gate No. 1 will be left open this year, which is good news for Vicar’s in Trouble and Rosie Napravnik , as they move into the #2 gate and out of the dreaded #1 hole, as we’ve confirmed this unusual action with two solid sources!

So horses that were to start in gates 1 thru 10 will now start in gates 2 thru 11!

Yes, race fans, it’s time once again for “America’s Race” in the 140th running of the GI Kentucky Derby this Saturday at about 6:24 pm edt, where a distilled down group of 20 runners, refined from the 10’s of thousands born to their generation, then tested by combat on this year’s Derby Trail to successfully arrive here at Churchill Downs for a shot at horse racing immortality underneath the legendary twin spires!

It’s time, once again, for that Call to the Post to waft over the Churchill faithful reaching high up in the grandstands of this historic venue and thru the cavernous halls of this great American horse racing icon to reach the Churchill Paddock where it settles down gently and gets transformed into that call for “Riders up“.

Time again, for the iconic Post Parade for the surviving “20” to strut their stuff one last time, all with the look of a winner, while the P.A. system soberly washes down on the faithful a few choruses of “My Old Kentucky Home” which no one ever really remembers the words to!

So, it’s time to put all the talk aside, pick up your racing form and find this year’s winner of the 140th “Run for the Roses” the $2,000,000, GI Kentucky Derby!

Here is this year’s crop of 3yo’s looking for Derby glory,
