CairoPrince- no longer considered for Derby #140!

Cairo Prince, the 2014 GII Holy Bull Stakes winner was withdrawn from consideration for the 140th Derby due to an injury to his left front ankle by his connections, earlier today.

His connections said, Cairo Prince was sent on Saturday, by van, to the Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Ky. where noted equine surgeon Dr. Larry Bramlage would do a further evaluation.

Vinceremos, is next in line for derby gate with 20 points and would get the berth in a tie breaker with 4 other horses also at 20 points, but his trainer, Todd Pletcher has made no final decision to run him in Derby #140, yet!
