The now 8yo Jeranimo, showed us why he is a multiple graded winner as with a quick burst down the Santa Anita turf center catapulted himself from worst to first in an instant in today’s $200,000, GII San Gabriel Stakes, for 4yo and up turfers, at 1 1/8 mile over a “firm” Santa Anita turf course, run in a swift 1:46 flat, winning by 1 1/4 going away length!

Coming 2nd, was Slim Shadey , back that 1 1/4 length after surrendering a stretch lead to the oncoming Jeranimo express. 3rd went to Artic North, back another 1 1/2 length with Utopian, filling out today’s super back another 1/2 length further!
