“10” relatively fresh faces will compete for this GIII title with $600k and “10” 2014 Derby Trail points up for grabs for this year’s winner!

Coastline, at 5/2, won the $60k Street Sense Stakes at Churchill last out covering a mile in a nice 1:36.2. He’s 2 for 3 this year and has hit nothing but board in all 3 lifetime outings.

Rise Up , at 3/1, is the winner of the $200k Jean LaFitte Stakes here at Delta Downs last out in the local prep for this race winning by 6 1/2 lengths that 1-mile tussle.

Casiguapo , at 4/1, came 4th in the GI Champagne and 2nd in the GI Hopeful in his past 2 outs also is bringing some GI form to this million dollar tilt. Finishing behind the likes of Havanna and Strong Mandate, both B/C Juvy runners, is no shame for him but he may find this oval and group more to his liking!

Rum Point , at 5/1, will be the Doug O’Neill entry in here on Saturday, has come 12th, 4th and 9th in 3 straight GI outings. He has had trouble in keeping up with the early speed in those 3, GI races so maybe a more moderate pace here would help him progress.

Mighty Brown , at 12/1, is a son of Big Brown and trained by Summer Bird’s handler Tim Ice came 2nd in that same $200k Jean LaFitte Stakes here at Delta Downs last time. He has no wins yet but has hit the board in 5 of his 6 lifetime starts.

Big Bazinga , at 12/1 was 2nd in the GIII Grey Stakes up at Woodbine last out and lose the win by a 1/2 length as he surrendered the lead in deep stretch in that 1 1/16 mile poly track tussle.

Flat Gone , at 20/1, by Flatter, was 3rd in that same Jean LaFitte Stakes last out but was way back by 13 lengths in that 2-turn tussle. He also ran 5th in the GI Frontrunner Stakes out at Santa Anita 2 back. He’s got stakes experience to offer here but has no wins on his resume.
