Royal Delta – winning her 2013 debut in the GIII Sabin Stakes at Gulfstream Park!

2012 Older Female HOY, Royal Delta, returns to North American racing this Saturday after another long Dubai World Cup induced layoff to defend her 2012 GII Fluer De Lis Handicap title over the Churchill Downs main, going 1 1/8 mile, for a purse of $175,000.

Free Past Performances,

On Fire Baby, winner of the GI Apple Blossom at Oaklawn earlier this spring, finish a very close 2nd here to Authenticity in the Churchill slop on Derby Day in the GII La Troienne last out and will be major competition for Royal Delta here on Saturday!

Ice Cream Silence, winner of the GIII Doubledogdare Stakes at Keeneland 2-back, then finished a disappointing 7th in the GIII Mathron at Arlington Park last out.

Wine Princess, winner of the GIII Monmouth Oaks last year then closed out 2012 with a solid 2nd to Grace Hall in the GII Indiana Oaks. She opened her 2013 campaign with an $80k Aoc win here at Churchill on Apr. 27th by 7 lengths running a mile in 1:35.4!

She’s All In, ran in all of the Oaklawn Park Older Fillies and Mares tussles earlier this year with only very modest success, will test the Churchill main for the first time here on Saturday!

Funny Proposition, winner of a $62.5k 2/x Aoc here at Churchill last out as she covered a 1-turn mile in a very sharp 1:34. 3. She has had all her alw level winning done over this strip however and will be taking a big jump up in class against what’s considered some of the very best in the Older F/M division here on Saturday!

Other top F/M’s are on this year’s nomination’s sheet so we wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more top Older F/M’s in the Churchill gates for this GII ladies tilt!
